Is the investigation stymied?, Shambles fears factories, Working for the man!

Stunned by the lack of progress in investigating The American Preservation League our heroes began looking at alternate lines of inquiry. Shambles investigations into Red Hollow revealed that it was a small town in Dunwich, known for being unusually prosperous. Dawson meanwhile decided to put an ad in the paper requesting contact from factory worker Will Moran as his long lost brother needed to get in touch with him.

Armoured with this burst of activity the investigators Jahraus of the APL once again to give him info on Walsh's missing wife in the hope that his network across the country could track her down. It was another interesting visit punctuated by Dawson going for the longest pee in history. He swore it was only 3 minutes.

Contact to the paper was made by Moran the next morning. The investigators received a message that he was interestedin meeting his brother but had to work a full shift at the Huckabee Canning factory, He would be available from 1900 in his lodgings at the lodging house of Mrs Wilmer Callahan. Kalabos, Lautrec and Dawson headed for the factory. Shambles headed for the train station.

At the Huvkabee Canning Factory Lautrec waited outside taking photographs whilst Kalabos and Dawson applied for jobs within. With some use of their charms they were hired to start the next morning and promised a can of product a week as a bonus. Investigation showed that the factory was canning fish!

With only a quick trip to pick up Shambles before he left our investigators were ready to proceed.
